Vanessa, nicknamed “Fireball” but walks as a Prophetic Voice to the nations, whom God has called to walk in the Offices of Apostle, Prophetess and Pastor was spiritually born on October 23, 1995. Ordained and Installed June 2010 as a Pastor, Vanessa has never stopped yearning and searching for the deep things of God. She understands that there is more to God than what the natural eye can see….and truly there are no limitations to what God can and will do…and this is why her life continues to demonstrate her total commitment, trust and dependence on Him.

She is also a Global Influencer, a successful Mentor, Life Strategist and 3x Best-Selling Author with multiple businesses including for-profits and a non-profit organization. The Fight Is Fixed™ LLC was, in the beginning, Vanessa’s life of experiences and quietly listening to the voice of God assist her in facing and maneuvering through vast traumas of life and walking in victory through it ALL! She didn’t say that there weren’t times of stressors, crying, depression and frustrations. It all did happen and much more than that! What she is saying is that through it ALL, she was taught the strategies and principles of victory as she daily trusted the leading of the Spirit of God in her life without outside influences.

She can attest to being broken-hearted, messed up, cast down, abused and cast out! Her life has been through a tsunami of tornado experiences from sexual molestation as a child to domestic violence and sexual abuse as a high school teenager and young adult (age 16.5-22) to a state of marriage survivorship

and innermost struggles (age 30-36) to a traumatic separation leading to a divorce (age 36-40) and now (age 42-present) living and walking out the abundant life God has created for her!

What inspired your entrepreneurial journey

My entrepreneurial journey was and continues to be inspired by my deep desire to leave a legacy for my children and grandchildren. Along with that inspiration it was also inspired by a personal story of how a woman walks up to me out of the blue and ask me if I could take care of her child while she goes to prison.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

My entrepreneurial journey has truly been ahh-mazing. Once I began to seek God for His guidance as to the strategies and principles needed to build the vision that He instilled in me, it was an instant flow. Did I have ups and downs? Yes, mostly due to the truth that I would make decisions based on my feelings instead of on the wisdom and clarity of what had been given to me. Some of those ups and downs included teaming up with the wrong individuals to build a business with; making impromptu monetary decisions without consulting God; and collaborating with the wrong organizations.

Did you ever consider giving up? Where did you get the motivation to continue through your challenges? What sustains your drive?

I've never considered giving up. My motivation was and continues to be my children and grandchildren especially going through the challenges. My relationship (not religion) with God sustains my motivation drive.

I am an innovative Game changer and Trendsetter. I love helping to change the lives of individuals. I help position individuals to soar and teach them no matter what they are going through, they already have the victory!

When did you realize entrepreneurship was right for you

I realized that entrepreneurship was right for me when I first made the decision to not work for anyone else again back in 1995. When I began to truly flow in my giftings and talent and clients came easy I knew then I would not go back to Corporate America.

What advice do you have for entrepreneurs and small business owners who may not be achieving their goals

My advice to entrepreneurs and small business owners who may be struggling is to first seek God for the blueprint and guidance of your business endeavor. He is the manufacturer of it, therefore, allow Him to guide you in every aspect of it. Keep the vision alive by speaking and decreeing daily affirmations into it until you see the manifestation of the goals set for it.

Network, embrace the pain of the process and make sure as the leader you make a decision to eat last. Always make sure the people that are believing with you are taken care of.

What are your future business goals

My future business goals are to continue to start successful businesses as well as expand a few of my businesses nationwide and internationally.

Generating new business, increasing your profits, or at least maintaining your financial stability can be challenging during good times, even more so during turbulent times. Can you share some of the strategies you use to keep forging ahead and not lose growth traction during a difficult economy?

During the difficult times of the economy I have learned to pivot with change. What may have worked during one time period may not work for another. I have learned to allow my creative and innovative abilities to help design the next level of growth. I have also learned that I cannot do it alone. God has truly blessed me with an ahh-mazing Dream Team that flows and pivot with change and assist in creating avenues of success.

Can you please give us your favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share how that was relevant to you in your life?

One of my favorite life lesson quote is, "When I decree a thing, it shall be established." This quote from the Bible has been relevant in my life for many years. I have learned that I have the creative power to create the life I want through the power of the words that I speak into the atmosphere.
