Mula Monopoly, born and raised, in Worcester, Massachusetts, has a life story defined by overcoming significant challenges. Growing up in central Massachusetts, he faced hardship from a young age. At six, he was taken away from his mother due to her drug addiction, leading to a childhood spent in foster homes and juvenile detention centers. When Mula was 12, his grandmother gained custody of him, providing a semblance of stability amidst the poverty of their Section 8 housing and reliance on food stamps.

Despite having a father who provided financial support, Mula's father's physical absence left a void. His grandmother, who took care of six grandchildren, struggled to make ends meet. This situation pushed Mula into hustling to support the family, leading to multiple run-ins with the law. His life took a significant turn in 2019 when he was arrested and sentenced to 52 months in federal prison for conspiracy to violate drug laws.

While in solitary confinement, he began writing a journal to cope with his stress and emotions. This practice evolved into writing lyrics, revealing a hidden talent for music. Upon his release in February 2023, Mula attended his first studio recording session, igniting his passion for a music career. The positive and negative feedback he received fueled his determination to improve and stay consistent in his craft.

his time in prison also sparked a newfound business acumen. Today, he owns three businesses: Headliners Barbershop and Salon in Worcester, and Ladies of Headliners in Auburn, MA. His father, now his business partner, has been instrumental in these ventures.

Since his release, he has released 13 music videos, showcasing his growth in visual production and lyrical content. He has collaborated with various local artists, including King Ace D General, Youngbiggsmusic, Blaze FSF, Figs, and Rice. Mula is currently working on his first EP, "That Was Then, This Is Now," set to release later this year. He aspires to collaborate with artists like Joyner Lucas, Millyz, Albee Al, Dave East, and Jadakiss.

Mula has performed at multiple shows across New England, opening for notable artists like Vado. His music, characterized by storytelling and real-life experiences, continues to gain traction. Beyond music, Mula is dedicated to giving back to the community. He has organized events for local Boys and Girls Clubs, youth centers, food drives, and backpack giveaways. His efforts have earned recognition from the Massachusetts senator for being a positive, productive community member.
